Vi-Lux Building Products Inc. Obtains Product Approval Under Florida Building Code and Miami Dade County

Napanee, Ontario, October 20, 2016: Vi-Lux Building Products Inc., a leading manufacturer of premium door components, PVC mouldings and trim, has announced that they were recently awarded Florida Building Code approval for their composite door jambs which can now be used in High Velocity Hurricane Zone, specifically Miami Dade County. Geographically defined as the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), Miami Dade County codes are the strictest in the nation requiring a higher standard for performance of products, materials and systems of construction. This is the first time Vi-Lux applied for approval in Florida.
