Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. is thrilled to announce that we have just been awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Certification. This is in recognition of our putting into play many green programs ranging from recycling to minimizing energy requirements to monitoring and reducing wastes of all types.
Vi-Lux is Expanding Again!
Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. added a new state-of-the-art custom paint line in May 2008. With this new addition, Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. can now provide a smooth, matte painted finish to its mouldings and trim.
In the summer of 2005, Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. doubled up its production facility, added a new compounding plant and several new extrusion lines. With ever increasing demand for their products, Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. made the decision to increase their capacity to compound more resin to supply their existing extrusion lines and increase production floor space for additional extrusion lines. This commitment to capacity placed Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. in a great position to address all of their customer's needs for cellular PVC mouldings and trim.

Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. introduces wood grain patterns on select mouldings!!
Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. can now emboss a wood grain pattern on various mouldings such as our 5-1/2’ bead board, our 3-1/2’ corner guard and our 3-1/2’ trim board. This deep textured wood grain replicates the look of natural wood, enhancing the appearance of the profile. Samples can be obtained by emailing Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. at info@vi-lux.com.
VI-GUARD® Coating
Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. is proud to announce that all of its exterior PVC products are available with a factory finished coating. Our VI-GUARD® coating system has been specifically designed to meet or exceed standards for exterior weatherability and carries a 10 year warranty against UV discolouration.
Vi-Lux Mouldings, a certified partner in the C-TPAT Program
NAPANEE, ONTARIO, July 2, 2007 – Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. announced today that it has become a certified member of the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program. C-TPAT, a voluntary government-business partnership introduced by the U.S. Customs Service in 2002, was developed to encourage all ground, air, rail and sea importers to take an active role in promoting and ensuring the integrity of supply chain and border security. The goal of C-TPAT is to identify low-risk, trusted import leaders who have solid supply chain security procedures in place and collaborate efforts, to ensure a more secure and expeditious international supply chain. C-TPAT offers Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. the opportunity to work directly with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to strengthen border security while ensuring the integrity of international supply chain practices.

Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc., a leading manufacturer of cellular PVC extruded profiles and trim, is please to announce that it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification (Certificate Number A1408CAN). Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. has been awarded this designation by IMSM Canada Inc., (International Management Systems Marketing) for meeting the guidelines set out by the International Organization for Standardization. Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. was evaluated on its commitment to continuous quality management and improvement of its operations and manufacturing of cellular PVC products.

Vi-Lux named Manufacturer of the Year 2006
Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. again took top award at the county of Lennox & Addington's manufacturer's appreciation evening. Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. was honored in 2004 and 2006 as Manufacturer of the Year for the County of Lennox & Addington.
When considering Vi-Lux Mouldings Inc. for the award, the selection committee focused on the company's substantial increase in sales demonstrated over the past years and their commitment to employees.
Vi-Lux named Exporter of the Year!
The County of Lennox and Addington presented its 2002 Awards for Manufacturing Excellence at a gathering held at Loyalist Country Club in Bath recently. Warden Clayton McEwen presented awards, which recognized success in exporting, site enhancements, commitment to employees and community, and company growth.
Vi-Lux Plastics was named Exporter of the Year. The company exports throughout the United States. Warden McEwen noted that since purchasing the company in 2001, the new management group has increased sales 30%.
